I am hypothyroid - well controlled with medication - I'm sure age is partly to blame (I'm 43) but one of the common symptoms of hypoT is puffy/sagging upper eyelids.. mine make me look so much older than I am and I appear constantly tired looking.
Having researched bleph. on the 'net, I've discovered that most sites warn against the increased risks of this op when one is hypothyroid. Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience of this... desperately want to get something done but very worried over the risks.
Many thanks.

I too have the same thyroid condition. However, June 30th I had the surgery you mentioned. It wasn't painful and has made a tremendous difference in how I feel about myself. It looks so good, my husband is having it done in December. Go for it!
