Hey guys...I am new to using the BC...haven't started yet but i have a prescription for alesse...
my insurance doesn't help very much with the pills (and I am too nervous to take the generic which is aviane)...
anyway my question is..i've been surfing around on some sites, and I have come across a few sites that send BCPs from Canada which are a lot cheaper than buying them in the US...they seem legit bc they require a prescription, etc...
i was wondering if anyone knew about these, and how legitimate/safe/etc they are...and also if anyone has any other safe and cost-effective suggestions
thanks! :)

I personally wouldn't buy any presciption drugs online, but many people do it.
You honestly shouldn't be worried about using the generic. Many women use generic birth control, and with no ill effects. The FDA requires that generics are chemically identical to their brand counterparts. In fact, some drug companies make both the brand and generic versions, in the same plant.
