Hi there... thanks for the advice on my post about med-por Implant. I did get the application for that show and couldn't believe how long it was.. I still have it here somewhere. I never filled it out. I found my dr. by writing different dr.'s online and they referred me to my dr. In Aventura, Fla. Are you going to fill out the application? If you do.. GOOD LUCK!!!

Have a great night

Summer33ny, there are several Dr. that perform all sorts of things.

T111racy, i also downloaded the application, and just threw it away last nite. I saw the 48 hours special after last nights show, and deceided that i don't have a desperate enough life, just a large want list, LOL. I'll have to keep saving in my "want" jar. Oh well, my mom always told me hard work will pay off.

Your mom's right. Don't give up. I was 208 when I gave birth to my daughter and now I am 135. She is going to be 4 in Jan. I am 32 years old. I thought I'd never lose the weight and I DID IT. I am getting married in April that's why I had my surgery. I have hated pictures of myself since my nose fell.. and I mean fell. I looked like I was punched in the face and it never healed. I didn't work for many years and have hardley no friends because I was always feeling self conscience of my self. I used drugs because I looked so bad. Finally, I had a change of Life event. I got prego... my little angel. I have been sober since the day I found out. She is my savior! I told myself a year ago that IF I got a job, and kept it for 1 year (Something I never did before and never wanted to do.) I could reward myself with a new nose. It is looking better everyday. (Surgery 11 days ago) Today I get to go out with makeup on. I feel so pretty now. My mother told me the other day that I looked really pretty (no make-up) and she ment it... What a great feeling.. Please keep up the hard work and do what is right for you. We all deserve to be as beautiful outside as we are inside. Good Luck

That show is kinda fun to watch and everything, but it kinda pisses me off :( Now plastic surgery is going to be mondo expensive, 'cause it's going to become a fad. I wanted plastic surgery before it was popular--back when it was still a faux paus to get it. I could never get it then because it was too expensive. Now, I probably will never have any hope of it :(

I WANNA TUMMY TUCK!!!!!!!!

Hi new to this section of the healthboards. I'm personally not considering surgery but the whole concept behind any kind of surgeries fascinates me. Always loved watching the shows on it. But anyway, was curious as to what you mean by the above quote. What does it mean that your nose fell? Thanks!

Hi there.. what I ment by my nose falling was the entire center of my nose began to fall into my face. It had a huge dent in the center of my nose and i looked like I was a boxer in my former life. My new nose which is an implant is beautiful and 3 weeks old. No complications as of yet and I feel great. I look like I should look now. I was a user of cocaine for many years which weakened my nose and during my addiction I was always getting into fights. my nose was broke as a result and I had no cartilidge to support the break. It just got worse as the years went by. I have been clean and sober for over 4 years.. Thanks for asking hope I answered your question.

Have a good one!

I also love watching the show and seeing the results, but they make it look like its no big deal to go through 5 or 6 different procedures all in one surgery. If they showed how those people really reacted for the first 24-48 hrs. immediately following surgery, it would frighten a lot of people.

Having been thru extensive lipo of my back, tummy, thighs, I would never go under the knife again because of the horrendous pain that lasted about a week. My hubby even cried for me just watching me trying to get out of bed on my own because I was screaming and crying in pain. Was it worth it? Yes, but the results only lasted 2 years and because I have an illness that does not allow me to exercise, I have gained back even more fat in the same body areas.

I guess there are other types of plastic surgery that are not as painful as lipo and I don't mean to discourage anyone who is about to have surgery by my comments. Some people have a high pain threshold and would do better than I did because I have a very low pain threshold.
