Hi,

I wanted to ask any of you if you have ever taken Gabapentin (generic for Neurontin. I've been prescribed Neurontin in the past for my muscle twitching because I think the dr. was just trying to calm my nerves down in the hopes that it would settle the twitching down. It actually helped me a little in the past. I'm not diagnosed with anything other than BFS. I've been going through a bad bout of twitching again so my neuro prescribed Gabapentin which is the generic form of Neurontin. It seems to be having a weird effect this time. It's wears off fast and then I get really shaky and I've been having bad limb jerks at night as I start to fall asleep. Has anyone ever had a bad experience with a generic drug? Does anyone take anything that helps ease the muscle twitching? Thanks for any comments.
