my gyno suggested that after i regulate my period by taking Ovcon 35, i should try switching to Seasonale because it's so much easier to take. Does anyone have any positive or negative concerns about this pill? let me know!

Well I was on Seasonale for the full three months because you take it for three months and then have a period. So you have four periods a year. The reason I got off of Seasonale was because I bled for over a month when I was on it, which is normal because it takes time for your body to get used to it. So I'm sure if you are patient unlike me then it will be fantastic in the end because you only have four periods a year. But you have to give it time and you will probably bleed more than you want to. But all in all I think Seasonale is great, I wish I would have been more patient.

thanks! That does sound really nice- only having that many periods a year- did you notice any weight gain or loss?

I was on Seasonale for 6 months. While it is nice to have your period every three months, I just went off Seasonale. The first 2 months are fine, but I found the last month on Seasonale, I felt like I was PMSing the whole time -- very emotional, crabby, my face broke out. Plus I gained 20 pounds on Seasonale despite working out 6xweek and being on a strict diet.

I hope it works for you -- I didn't like it.
