What are you opinions of open versus closed rhinoplasty? Or the surgeon performing them?
I'm not quite 100% on the up and downs of both.
Thanks.

It depends on what you are getting done, open is better in my opinion because it gives the surgeon a better view of the nose and all its components, hence a more likely better outcome. But if you are getting very minor work done, a closed might be more appropiate.

Well. the thing is, that's EVERYONE's opinion. I have much to do, but he's a specialist. I mean, yea you can see more, but doesn't it harm more? B/c of the skin being pulled up for so many hours?

Well do what the doctor thinks is best of course! Thats why they went to medical school, to make decisions like this, if he wants open, do it open! Or go to a plastic surgeon. My best friend got a rhino and it was open and her nose is beautiful, no scars, and very nice shape!
