i'm new here, and i am scared that i have colon cancer
for about a year i've had a problem going to the restroom, .
whenever i would go the stools would come out a normal size, but the only thing is that they whould come out real dry,
whenever i would wipe, there would be nothing on the toilet paper. also every once in awhile, i would notice a little drop of blood on there too.
i read that this was probably concidred constipation, so i started to take METAMUSIL, and it started working, my stools were soft, and there would be stuff on the TP, but i would STOP USING ITthe METAMUSIL, and THE STOOLS WOULD GO BACK TO DRY.
does this mean anything????? could it mean that cancer would not be causing the constipation???
also a week ago, out of nowhere......my stools whent back to normal, they were soft, and the way stools are suppose to be. but SOME of the stools would come out thin and flat, ALSO I FEEL A BURNING WHEN PASSING THESE STOOLS, like hemroids or something....
what could be causing this?????
is it posible that its a tumor thats causing this, ???

There is nothing wrong with you! Your diet doesnt include enough fiber and water without taking metamucil. That's why your "problem" returns when you stop the metamucil. You need to alter your diet to include more fiber and you will be okay.
