Can you use polysporin around the eyes? I know it says on it not to though. My DD was having a fearless moment and went running off the back patio stairs  My MIL nabbed her but she caught her just under her eye with her ring. It's just a little cut, but that was 2 days ago and today it's a little red and swollen looking. I've just been wiping it with clear water too keep it clean thus far. It is VERY close to her eye and I'm afraid if I put something on it, DD will rub it in her eye. Any idea's for a pain free solution?

Clean the area with salt water. The salt will help kill any bacteria present and prevent infection. Twice a day is fine, and I would leave it alone.

Thanks Kitkat, that's what I decided to do anyway. It was starting to look a little angry, but it's all healed up now :)
