I've been getting a DARK brown discharge for a few days now (figure because I've switched bcps). Is this considered spotting, or does it have to be a lighter colour? Odd question, I know...but just curious.

Yeah, I'd say it's just spotting, probably from the switch in pills. Give it about 3 months, it'll probably go away. If not, maybe try switching again? Don't worry, you might not have the same problem twice. :)
