I am writing about my husband. He is 22 and has had two collapsed lungs. He has a whole lot of scarring in his lungs, but the doctors don't know why. The think he may have CF and pulmonary hypertension. They said something about a transplant. Please give info. and who was your doctor. What were your symptoms if you don't mind me asking

I have a roommate with CF....her doctor just advised her to get on a list for a lung transplant. She is a
"the glass is have empty" type of person I don't blame her....but I wish she would make a little more of an attempt to find out more about it. She doesn't see much point in prolonging her life. I think I have convinced her so far to at least put herself on list and decide when the time comes. I would like to find out more about life after a lung transplant....but I want the real deal....was it worth it! Pros and Cons if any.
Also I don't understand the digestive disorder she has. She is extremely thin!!!!boney for lack of a better word. I am really concerned about her eating habits. She doesn't eat much at all....not to mention she eats things low in fat. I would think that the more she eats the healthier she would be and the more energy she would have......please help me understand.I you are not able to answer all my question....please feel free to refer to another source.
