My son has had bowel/ intestinal problems ongoing for 11 months and counting now. He has been in and out of hospitals. His abdomen becomes severely distended followed by diarreah 2-4 times DAILY he sometimes expriences low abdomen pain (upper groin area) he says acroos the whole bottom. His weight fluctuates but he is not gaining he is very skinny weighs 34-35 lbs. He has had alot of tests done, Upper GI altra sounds x-rays blood work and Celiac test and Sweat Chloride all came back with no significant finding other than: his appendix is very prominant and in the center of his abdomen, ferritin High, Creatine Low, ESR high at 18 s/b 10-13 for his age Sweat Chloride 53 they are re-ding this on July 26th. they were onable to see his Pancreas in the Ultrasound because of so much gasses in the area. Could have CF if not what else could this be its not going away! Please help we need answers for peace of mind.
