For a while I wondered why I was losing hair, and feeling like crap all the time. I would always hurt in the area where my gallbladder was, and always thought that it was my gallbladder. But, tests always shown that my gallbladder was fine. Last week I got really sick. I had a low grade fever, and I had undescribable pains on my right side. Immediately I thought gallbladder. And so I went and had tests done. Blood tests, xrays, ultra sound, ct scan. When I had the ultrasound and xray done, I was told that my liver had some fatty tissure around it. And that my spleen was mildly enlarged. My blood work was fine. Ok, this scared me. My doctor wanted to get a better look so she had me to do a ct scan. And those results were given to me today. My spleen wasnt enlarged. That was what I was told. I havent heard from the doctor. I will go see her friday. Well I asked again about my blood work. She told me that my liver was slightly elevated. She said the norm was 8 to 36 and mine was 40. What does this mean??? Anyway. I have been doing some research on the internet, on how to help this issue, and came across this site called liverdoctor.com. And I went out and bought a book yesterday called the liver cleansing diet. Have anyone here tried this diet? Anyway, I guess my question is, could what I be experiencing, be liver dysfunction? I have all the symptoms. hair loss, acne, the liver roll around my tummy area. Fatigue, pains in my upper right abdominal area, and spleen area, and the list goes on. Also my other question was pertaining to the book. Any help would be great. Or at least until I get to the doctor Friday.
