My doctor just put me on Ovcon 35- and I was wondering if anyone has been on this pill, and what were the side effects? Were there any weight, or acne issues? My gyno said it would help clear up my face, but i was wondering if this is true- I would love some feedback! Thanks

I am on my 5th pill of my 2nd cycle. Soi far I LOVE this pill. my period was barely 2 days, with no cramping. I am not moody and i have actually lost some of the weight that ortho tri-cyclen put on. :) THANK GOODNESS! haha! as far as my face, i've never really had a problem with breakouts, but it's still clear, so it's not making it bad.

I've been on it for going on 8 mons. now. The only side effects I've experienced were an appetite increase for a short time (month or two), slight dry skin rash around my mouth (for the first 3 mons., then went away), and shorter periods, which are currently still short (3 or 4 days). I gained 7lbs from the appetite increase, but I was able to lose it when it (my appetite) got under control again. However, my breasts are still a 38C, weird. They were a 36C when I started this pill. This is my second time on it. The first time, I was only on it for 4 mons. I had to stop it because it made me severely depressed. Also, at that time my breasts went from a 36C to a 36D!! I didn't want to quit it, but I couldn't deal with the depression. This time I don't have any depression at all, though. So, as you can see, everybody reacts differently to different pills. Even the same person can react differently at different times, as in my case. Good Luck!! It's one of the best pills out there, IMO. :)

thanks- i havent heard too much about this pill- but so far everything i've heard is mostly positive-

ive been on it for 3 months and havent noticed any weight gain. i did notice i seemed to have an increased appetite a little bit, but not sure if that has anything to do with me takin it though. my breasts felt a little bigger feeling for awhile but i feel normal now.
thats so weird someone else posted about dry skin around their mouth! ive had that too, but i thought it might be from me tanning! i wonder if mines from the pill...
i really like it and my period was really short!
