I'm trying to turn myself in to a health nut / simple living person, and I want to ask this question here, so I hope none of the moderators move it, as I would much rather respect the answer of the people posting here as opposed to an ADD forum.

I take a time release version of Methylphenidate, and ADD medication.

what are your views on ADD medications and their benefits as opposed to health problems they may bring if any?

this medication betters me, but i fear it being bad for me, and i fear becoming dependent upon it, and using it long term ( and it damaging me )

but i have no problem using it my whole life if its not bad for me.
