I had both hands done 5 weeks ago and am still having major pain and weakness. I started physical therapy and it's brutal for me. I am experiencing all you are. I'd love to tell you it's all gone but it's not. I guess this is a case of misery loving company!

New member here, although I've been lurking a couple of months. Just wanted to tell you to hang in there. I had my left hand done, along with the ulnar nerve transp on 5/25. I am still experiencing stiffness in my hand but I have noticed that it's getting a little less every week. I started physical therapy 7/11 and have noticed a lot of improvement since then. I had the carpal tunnel release on the right hand 2 weeks ago so I was forced to do more with it so that probably helped. 2 weeks ago I couldn't pick up a full coffee pot but now I can! My therapist has me working the hand, elbow with hand held weights and really working the putty. Grip strength has doubled. Hang in there. I know how you feel, we just want to be back to normal-like yesterday!

I have had carpel tunnel surgery now 3 times, twice on right hand onece on left. Each time it work but only temporary when I had the right tested they tested the left also and they said I also had it in left. When I had the left tested they said I had it in right again. Isn't there anything permanent. Tired have had 15 surgeries so far most orthopedic need new knees and am just sooo tired don't want anymore surgeries. Are there any really good things to take care of this forever?
