Nicolettc,
I have read and re-read your post many times....are you kidding about having it done in the doctor's office to save money for the company you work for? UNBELIEVEABLE! Don't play with around with your hand....sounds like you have an infection to say the least....that's why this type of operation is done is a sterile operating room....If it was me, I'd have it checked out by another doctor....I wouldn't trust the one who did it in her office. My 2 cents worth!

they bought a operating table and lights ,put them in a room with a sink and counter tops, they had me scrub my own hands with that doctor scrubby thing they use.the room wasent a dirty dant looking room but it was a room at the doctors office not the hospital, doc also said i was the first to have surgery done at office  they want me to come in 2 take my stitches out and there is no way anyone is touching my hand right now it hurts so bad and if i knew this b4 having both surgeries i would have just delt with the pain and numbness,

Yes, it certainly sounds like an infection has set in. Not to be fooled around with either. Your hand needs to be looked at, and that means someone is going to have to touch it. Going to a different doctor, as someone suggested sounds like a good idea at this point.
I really question having a surgery in a doctor's office, no matter how clean it might appear.
I had both hands done on an outpatient basis, albeit, 12 years between ct release on right hand and then left. The first surgery, there were about 3 tables set up in the same room....second one was in a regular operating room. Very spacious and large. First surgery went well. Healed up fine.
Left hand I have hypersensitivity and numbness in two fingers. Drives me nuts. But your situation certainly sounds a lot worse.
Maybe you need to get a lawyer too, if you don't already have one??
