I have only been on the Ortho Evra Patch for two weeks and i have been reading up on it but i still have a question... :confused: when i hit my fourth week when i dont wear one at all do i need to use another form of protection? just would be good to know these things before i screw it up from not knowing,,,thanx

I suggest you do a search for this information on this board in the past week... this question has been asked like 3 times already... i know cuz i asked the same thing... :) (but im on the pill, i also get the 4th week off from taking the pill)

You're protected during your 4th week. The patch supresses ovulation, and since there is (ideally) no egg to fertilize, you can't become pregnant. A back-up method isn't necessary, unless you want that extra security.
