 Hello all!
Something just passed through my mind tonight while having a few drinks celebrating my 22nd b-day hehe. :p
I have been on the pill since I was about 17 and I have been sexually active since about 18, I do drink more now then I did then, but does alcohol of any sort, beer or liquor have anyting to do with the affectiveness of my pill?
I havent had any scares yet, so...so far I feel like I have been doing the right thing, taking it right ect..are there any pills that are less effective while consuming alcohol? or is it all the same since your body is still getting its dose of the b/c drug?

Alcohol does not interact with the pill. The only way alcohol could decrease pill effectiveness is if you were to vomit from too much alcohol shortly after taking your pill.

There would be a lot more pregnant women out there if it did! Thank goodness! :p
Antibiotics may effect the pill, but you can drink all you want and it won't effect it. Throwing up is ok, as long as you do it more then fifteen minutes after you took the pill.
