In the last 9 months I have lost 36lbs, from 174 to 138. I still have 14lbs to lose. I've gained a lot of muscle and am really happy with the tone I have in most of my body. However, my butt is sagging more than I'd like. Is there anything I can do to stop this, or is it the inevitable result of losing lots of weight? 5 times a week I do yoga, weights, crunches, and 45 mins of cardio.

Do you work out at the gym or at home? If at the gym, I suggest that you try the eliptical or that butt machine where you lay on your tummy and lift that thing behind you.

Or try the FIRM videos! Awesome for total body toning and the fanny lifter produces great results! Doesn't get rid of cellulite though but that's hard to get! :( But I noticed a difference in that area, like my but seems more lifted, lol. :D

chlove,
You'll need to add some exercises to your current regime that target the butt. Some really good ones are: various type of squats using dumbbells or weights like the Hack Squat, and single leg squat. Lunges; front, rear, and sides, leg press. There are too many to name. Doing these types of exercises will not only firm your butt, it will lift it too. If you are a member of a gym, ask someone there to show you a few exercises to get you started.

Barbell Squat.
Stiff-legged Deadlift.

If you want to get a good butt, find out all you can about these exercises. They'll do wonders for your butt. Don't be afraid to use big weights too. Mig weights build muscle better.
