With my original temporaries they stuck out really bad. I couldn't close my lips comfortably with out strain. These new ones are perfect in that way. My facial structure is different but considering all that has happened its not unexpected for me. But they dont make my lips bubble out or feel to big.

So not me, this time.

After 20+ years of wearing 3 different partial plates that did not fit properly, my new upper denture (I had the remaining 5 teeth pulled on May 19) provided me with an upper lip that had disappeared over the years. I did seek out a cosmetic dentist for the procedure knowing that I definitely wanted a change in my appearance. So yes, they do push out my upper lip, but for me, this is the result I was trying to achieve. It's been a looong time coming.

Hey Chatty,

No, I'd say my uppers don't push my lips out at all .. as a matter of fact, everybody says what a great job they did .. cause they look exactly like my real teeth did .. only better.

my immediates did at first but now that the swelling is going down, my lips are just a little "thinner' but everyone says I look great

My bottom lip seems to stick out a little. I am hoping that goes away when I get my permanents.

I have immediates and my mouth feels much fuller than before. Don't like it much. I know that when I get my permanents it will be better. At least I hope it will.
