Is dizziness one of the side effects of the mirena? I had mine put in on friday no problmes with it at all other than a little sick to my stomache and now some dizziness, i didnt know if that was one of the effects or not or maybe i was coming down with something?

Talk to your doctor. You might want to try diagram?

It's the pill that effect you what you are feeling right now and maybe try take them in the morning with meal instead of taking them in the evening before bedtime?

Are you the first time taking bcp?

If it continues to feel dizziness, talk to your gyn and maybe try a different method? Just a thought, but be aware of mood swings badly that may cause it with dizzy, lightheaded such as headaches and it can make yourself sick.

Mirena is not the birth control pill, it is an IUD.

To the original poster, it could be something entirely unrelated to the Mirena that is causing the dizziness, but if you continue to feel dizzy, or if it gets worse, talk to your doctor.

Been more than two days and I've still got terrible cramps. So I'm thinking the dizziness might just be part of it for you. Of course, if it's still bad or really debilitating go see your doctor! If it's mildly annoying, it's most likely your body adjusting to the Mirena.
