Does anyone know of any Diet pills that are safe to take that I could perhaps get at Wal-Mart and are cheap. I would like the pills to help suppress my appetite( a must) burn fat and/or calories and give me energy.

The ones that work are illegal or prescription.
The ones you can buy at Walmart are various concoctions that are practically useless and use caffeine as their "active ingredient." The dress up the caffeine with a couple of unprounceable India or Chinese herbs to justify the $$$$.
A couple cups of coffee will do as well, and that's not much.
Save your money, there's no shortcut!

What about Phentermine? I know that htis is a prescription but I recently saw where I could order it online. I wonder if it would be the same thing or not...what do you all think? I am going to talk with my doc and see if he will write me a prescription for it. I am 5"4" and weigh 163.5. I want to get down to 126 but 130 will work too.

I currently am taking Phentermine and the first couple times I took it it made me really sick and dizzy. I only take it about every other day. I can tell a difference in my appetite if I don't take it every other day. I also am doing weight watchers on my own with just counting points. I don't eat over 24 points a day. The phentermine though can be addictive.

I took Phentermine that i purchased online last year. it made me so nervous and irritable. it curbed my appetite for 3 hrs. and then wore off. i was twice as hungry when it wore off. if you take 2 of them, you will have bad insomnia.: :that night. there isn't nothing good to take from Wal-mart. its all just vitamins and herbs. a waste of money.

There has been a number of study's about Phentermine and mitral + aortic heart valve regurgitation, many years ago l stupidly took this drug.....................for more than the 3 months that they say is safe if YOU HAVE NO UNDERLYING HEART PROBLEMS, do you know if you have ? l didnt know l then had a heart problem................. but l do now.
It cannot be proved that this drug damaged my heart so l have no come back on anyone for the loss of my health or income or my way of life.
Six months into the drug , my weight was gone ( l wasnt that over weight) but l started having blackout , palpitations, chest pains with excessive sweating and greyness of lips and nail beds , l couldnt get up stairs without getting short breathed , l couldnt run anymore, l have been in and out of hospital since then.
I have leaky mitral and aortic valves a very low heart rate , and since 1999 l've developed angina.
l had none of the above before Phentermine.
With these heart problems l was hit by another car and suffered more injures to my heart and developed a small hole in the back of it ( along with some other nasty injures)
My heart consultant went absolutley berserk when he descovered l had taken this drug..................l'm now stuck with my heart problems, also when l came off the drug l gained back all the weight!
Its only now that l have , by sticking to my fruit, veg and lean meats diet , lost 3 1/2 stone in 8 months ( with brakes)
Is your body worth the risk? What will you do if in 12 months time you discover heart problems that cant be proven , but the ONLY thing you have taken is this Phentermine? l'm disabled..............think before you swallow a diet drug , can you afford to loose what you now have now for the sake of a 'quick fix weight program ?

Phentermine is wonderful! But it is also very addicting.
The first time I took it I was 174 lbs. and I went down to 138 in a couple of months time. I also exercised. It really numbs your hunger. Most doctor's won't give you a prescription for it. But you can order them online. Just make sure you compare prices. Some are cheaper than others. Once you stop taking them you could gain all of your weight back and then some of you didn't change your dietary habits.
If you do choose to use Phentermine use it to give you a boost on a healthy lifestyle which includes exercise.
