 Hi,Everyone! I just signed up,I am abit tired of paying for other sites just to post on the boards. I am looking for support as I lose 75 pounds and get my body back,I am almost 42 and it is sooo much more difficult now but I know I can do it! I lost alot of weight on Weight Watchers but returned to my old habits and gained the weight back faster then I throught possible. I recently purchased a wonderful product called the Healthfit counter, looks just like a Palm Pilot but has a food data base of about 2300 food items, tracks 9 nutrional categories(including sodium, which I need due to high blood pressure)keeps your food diary for 30 days(NO more writing everything down). It's pretty awesome! I count calories(which I love, guess it helps me to feel in control),I am exercising again and I am really excited to lose this weight(again). How is everyone's experience here? Looks like a great, supportive place! Would love to hear from anyone going down the same road as I am! Judy

Hello Judy and welsome to the site,
l post under 'fruit and veg a must for dieters' a bit of a crazy post. I also do two other posts on this site all as looney as my first. :bouncing:
l have a number of nasty health problems and gained about 4 stone from being put onto a drug that they now say l should never have been on ( thanks doc!)
l have tried a number of diets in my time , after each of my children especailly.
l cannot exercise at all, well walkings not great at times either!
l have been on my own diet of fruit, veggies, very lean meat, chicken, fish and wholemeal bread since December 2004, l have had a couple of brakes in it when l have been very ill or in hospital, but to date l have now lost over 3 stone ( without one exercise) l am being weighed tomorrow ( by doctor) to see what l have lost this week , l normally loose about 2 lb a week on average.
l have gone down from a size 18 to now a 12-14 and am still going , l'm at a wedding in August so have an incentive to look good.
l hope you do well on your diet and manage to keep it off this time, that is the one big problem once you loose it , you forget how hard it was ,you start relaxing your eating again..............and it creeps up on you .
Best Wishes Holeinheart ( Ami)
