I am just so tired of dealing with all of this stuff. I always feel so empty and so depressed. But what is even more annoying is my constantly ever-changing moods and my horrible OCD. At work, I'm constantly cleaning and organizing because I'm so stressed that I have to be constantly doing something to keep from feeling panicked.
To make things worse, I went to see a new counselor, who was a total jerk. I didn't like her at all, so I am going to go see a new one, but not until September! Arrrggghh.....and I feel so crappy, and I need a counselor now! It is just so annoying.
I just don't know what to do.......I'm so frustrated!

I am not a therapist or Dr. but my suggestion is to go get some running shoes and start walking and then running. It releases endorphins in the brain and works as a natural antidepressant.
good luck to you...

I've got OCD and depression that either makes me sedated and not care, or completely agitated.
I found out that ripping paper up in little pieces (and smaller and smaller pieces) keeps my hands busy. Helps short term. Doing something more artistic would be fun, but I'm too critial - but if you can draw or paint, then maybe that'd temporarily help?
Anyhow...back to the rest of your post.
I've seen a lot of crappy therapists, so I know how even MORE depressing that can be. While you're waiting to see another, you could always look into local support groups. Sometimes they're more theraputic than seeing a therapist...and if one doesn't work, you can always try another one. I've found groups more helpful because at least the people there know what I'm going through and understand a little, whereas some therapists seem to be completely clueless.
Lots of big hospitals have mental health support groups, so if you call they could probably refer you to something in your area...
Good luck on hanging in there.
