I quit 10 days ago, but I couldn't stop my junkie self and smoked a whole pack on the 26th, then of course I was so mad at myself, so starting over. I have allergies, and what I think is smokers chronic stuffy nose, no medicine to help that. I'm not coughing any crap out, in the past when I've quit (due to pregnancy) I coughed my head off. I'm experiencing this need for a deep breath--that is really what triggered the quit. I've read about emphysema, trouble exhaling, I don't have trouble inhaling or exhaling, or so I tell myself. I need to go get a full check up. Anyone else coughing their heads off or not coughing? Atleast I have no more smurfs coming up :p

i noticed just before i quit (six days now! whoo-hoo...thirty dollars not spent (about) and I still smell good!) that I was starting to have a continuous cough....also, i'd try to do yoga...and found i couldn't take a complete breath in...still can't- but i'm waiting for the day i'll be able to fill those lungs all the way up :) And don't worry- setbacks are temporary...you'll quit...and so will i :)
