Hey Monica whats up? The Apple cider diet is a fad at best. The people who are on this diet will lose just as much muscle as fat which is actaully doing damage to the body. When these people get to there desired bodyweight, the will technically have a high body fat percentage and they will look gaunt.. Trust me I know what I'm talking about! The best way to loose weight is by Diet and Exercise. You will burn more calories throughout the day by building some muscle(you wont bulk up by excercising, thats a myth!!unless you eat a lot of quality calories).
I hope this helps!

I have since been looking into this Apple Cider Vinegar Diet. I have found a lot of information, as well as postings from some doctors and pro's. I agree with you exercise and a proper diet are the best and should be included in any diet plan. But the ACV diet does not burn fat as some pill pushers try to claim, and it does not make you loose lean muscle as you state either. It simply acts as an appetite suppresant. There is a couple in their 90's in California "Bragg" who have been promoting the other health benifits. But, from what I have now seen and heard many people are loosing weight by using this natural aid to overeating. Many then start exercising as well. The reason I trust it even more, is that you don't have to buy anything from any companies. You can get this anywhere and it works for pennies a week.

Hi,
My mother used to give me shots of vinegar when I told her I had a stomach ache. She used to use it on a q-tip to clean out my ears. She used to use it on scrapes and cuts on my poor little skinny body. She used to sprinkle it over my greens and say "eat it all up and grow up and be a strong young man".
She never did tell me it was good for helping me not get hungry, But I figure that she knew about it because we did'nt have a lot to eat sometimes and I always got hunger pains untill she gave me the vinegar.
Then the greens and ham and beans filled me right up.
I grew up into a very strong (skinny) young man I entered the Marine Corps at 17 and weighted 130 lbs. Six months later I weighed 165 lbs. I had never seen so much food.
Peace

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WEIGHT LOSS.

There it's in plain english for everyone. Take it for health benefits, but don't expect to lose weight with it. And if someone wants to argue the point, by all means.. please tell me exactly what ACV does in your body to induce weight loss.

Thanks.

Hey starbuck I'm with you. But to partly answer your question ACV curbes your appetite which causes weightloss by not eating! I still stand on my first post! You will lose as much muscle as fat ! enough said!
