In 1989 I injured myself lifting weights, I've seen countless doctors, neurologists and chiropractors but everytime I do anything strenuous like lifting a 1/2 gallon of milk, I get a pinched nerve in my right arm and a dull pain in my stomach at my navel. If I run I get a pinched nerve in my arm. If I attempt to vacuum or paint I get a pinched nerve. I'm an active person and my life has been reduced to a small circle of recovery and reinjury.

The spinal tap reveiled high protein levels in my spinal fluid, and the ulnar nerve in my right elbow is compressed. I know something is wrong with my spine at my navel but when I see the neurologists I don't fit any pattern and they dismiss me. I believe I either damaged the wall of my spine at the navel or some bone pokes a nerve. If not neurologists, what kind of doctor should I be seeing?
