Okay I know this is kind of gross but i'm kind of worried...

Since i've been spotting for about 40 something days my doctor put me on this precribed asprin to take away the pain, and she told me it would slow down my spotting so of course i keep taking it. Well i've been taking that and other asprin kind of a lot and it helped my spotting out a lot. Lately I've been getting really nervous because i think i might be getting an alser from all the asprin i take but i refuse to stop because it helps. Well the other day i went to an amusment park and a concert all day so i didnt really change my tampon because i didnt think it would affect me that much and i didnt take any asprins because i decided my body needed a break. Well when i returned home i took my tampon out and i noticed there was a lot of blood on it and that there was something that look like it could be a layer of skin. I've never ever seen anything like that and it's worrying me.

Now my bleeding is even worse and it looks and feels like as if i'm on my period but i dont get my period i only have been spotting.

Do you think somethings wrong with me and i should get it checked out or could this just be normal?

what do you mean pain? cramps?

i'm confused by this. I'm pretty sure aspirin is a blood thinner, and would actually increase your spotting...but obviously I'm not a doctor so...

about the layer of skin thing, maybe it's just from leaving the tampon in too long? You really shouldn't leave it in longer than 8 hours.

did you just begin taking birth control when the bleeding started? If so, I would think about stopping if this bleeding continues.

I have really sharp pains and cramps. I told my doctor and she gave me a prescription to take it away and i asked if it would help the spotting and she said it would help slow it down.

I had the depo shot in late may and didnt start spotting until mid june. I have decided to get on the pill starting on august 7th

Instead of giving your more pills to take your doctor should have given you a stronger dose. You're spotting because your bc dose isnt strong enough in estrogen.
