I was wondering....my grandfather was diagnosed with bleeding hemmeroids when he was 30 (like me). He then around age 60 something died from colon cancer. What is the likelyhood that if I am diagnosed with IBS and I already have bleeding internal hemmeroids that it could develop into something like cancer? I am awaiting my results from my biopsys.

Shannon, yes there is alawys the chance that it might be more but unless you have other symptoms or really concerned the only way to make sure is by getting a colonoscopy done. Wait for your results... and tsry not to stress.
Take care of YOU!
