I've had this problem for a couple of weeks. When I lay down at night - sometimes I get dizzy if I lay on my side. When I get up in the morning, I have to sit on the side of the bed for a min. or so because the room is spinning. I've been to my Dr. and he said I have wax down inside my ears and gave me a bunch of prescriptions - none of which helped. I hate this feeling of the room spinning. During the day, I just feel a little light headed and my ears feel full but when I go to bed, I'm dizzy and have pain in my ears.
Does this sound like ears or neck problem? How can I get rid of this dizzy feeling in the mornings? It's a scary feeling. Thanks for any help you can give me.

hello
it sounds like it could be bppv, this is from within the inner ear, can be caused by a virus, like labyrinthitis, or sometimes the crystals on the tiny hair cells fall and get trapped and can be cured by a manouver called epley which will move the crystals away to an area that wont cause the dizziness, is there a particular side that starts it, that maybe the affected ear. if u go to the inner ear board you will get more info there..........good luck
