Anyone -

I have had a feeling of a lump in my anus/rectum now for a while. It only bothers me when I walk or move a certain way. I tried to find it but can't. I have crohn's disease and do have a fissure on the othe side but this does not feel like a fissure - it feels swollen. What could it be if I can't find it myself. I am allergic to cortisone and anusol so I use Vaseline for the fissure. I tried using the vaseline to feel.......

Right now I am in the middle of a hyperactive thyroid that may have caused congestive heart failure and they want to test me for lung problems...allergic to most dyes - nuclear med and CT scan. I think I have enough.
Thanks

Suggi:
You could be feeling a swollen lymph node, or infection of sorts from a small tear in your rectal/anal region. The best thing to do is go visit your Gastro that I'm sure you see regularly for your Crohn's.

Best of Luck,
CancerDad
