View Full Version : Bad breath

I seem to suffer from somewhat of a dry mouth. I realize that may be the reason I suffer from bad breath, but I don't know of any ways to cure it. Is there some kind of medication that can make you produce more saliva? Or are there some products that I could use that would help me cure my problem? It's embarrasing going out on dates because I know I usually have bad breath.
I brush my teeth 3 times a day.. floss, scrape my tongue and use a non-alcoholic mouthwash

I have the same problem. I take medication that causes extreme dry mouth. I have tried Biotene toothpaste & mouthwash, but they didn't seem to help. I have had to have hundreds of dollars of work done to my teeth due to the enamel wearing off.
My dentist recommended chewing sugar-free gum and frequently drinking water.
Also, try Tom's of Maine Anti-Cavity MouthWash for Dry Mouth. It's new. I haven't tried it yet, but hopefully it will work. :)
