I just had one of my (bottom) molars extracted on thursday the 28 of July, I am still bleeding a little on the 31. I rise out the wound after every meal and i and replace the gauze everytime, is it normal to still bleed?

Also the extraction site has two dark red centers split by a pink line, is this a sign of dry socket? I dont feel a lot of pain, only sometimes.

Thank you for your help.

Just curious why are you still using gauze.......maybe stop using the guaze, maybe when the gauze moves around it messes with the clot....I don't know I am not a professional and am just speaking from experience. If you are worried call your dentist:) Oh and I hope you aren't spitting either, let whatever trickle out your mouth:)
Good luck:)

You need to let the area clot and heal. Don't go rinsing the socket out after every meal. All you're doing is flushing the clot away and hindering healing.

Good advise. A little blood seeping into saliva can look like a lot of blood sometimes
