Hi,
I have been dealing with a lot of pain in my teeth lately, it happened after i got in on friday night, i was brushing my teeth and i dont remember exactly how it happened but i somehow managed to crash my teeth down together on my left hand side of my mouth. Since then I have had on and off pain in my teeth in this side of my mouth. The pain mainly occurs in a tooth at the top and a couple in the bottom. It is not a particularly sharp, unbearable pain, it is quite sharp but also quite dull and can be very uncomfortable. Sometimes it feels like the pain when i had tooth pain from blocked sinuses, and even now when the pain is bad i find that if i lightly press or massage the area above my top teeth, the pain is relived a little.
I know that sensitive teeth are usually caused from exposed dentine so I was worrying thinking that maybe by crashing my teeth together i had somehow knocked through a thin patch of enamle or eveb cracked the teeth. I have just been searching on the internet though and i saw that you can cause trauma and bruising to a tooth by an injury, which can cause bruising to the nerves etc and this can cause discomfort to the teeth.
Does anybody have and ideas or info on this or anything i can do to relieve the pain? I have been taking asprin but it hasnt done much and i have also been applying clove oil to the teeth as that normally numbs any tooth pain i have but it just doesnt seem to be working very well at all this time!! :S
Any help would be very much appreciated!!
Thanks!! :)
