Feeling really sad and down right now cause I have reached a plateau in my weight loss :( I've been stuck for like a month now. If anyone knows how to get me out of this rut, pleasssseee let me know. I haven't changed anything in what I'm doing if anything I added extra walking  Its summer and I sweat more, I really thought I'd lose more weight in the summer?!

Even if u can't respond, Prayers are greatly appreciated

Thanks

Its hard to give advice on what to do until we know currently what you are doing. Your diet, exercise routine, how much you weigh, your weight loss goal, you height. This would all be helpful to give you some good feedback.

I eat a variety of different things, like today I had a banana with a spoonful of peanut butter for breakfast, at break I had half a packet of low fat oatmeal for lunch I had a green leafy salad with turkey now I just had the other half of the oatmeal and then dinner for me is tuna and cottage cheese. Maybe a plum or some cherries after dinner. I walk 3 miles and I do 1 hour on the exercise bike every day, every other day I do weight lifting for 30 min. along with walking and the bike. I currently weigh 128 lbs. I am 24 yr old 4' 11" female with a goal weight of 108 lbs. Also there is this pool party coming up on labor day that I want to look right for and I just can't seem to get rid of this extra weight I have on me. Recently I added a half an hour of walking before I come to work at 8 in the morning. I really want to see a difference... What am I doing wrong?

Are you drinking any water? There are no beverages listed in the above and that isn't good. Also, you might not be eating enough...I don't know what the calories are as I did WW and it seems to me that you're only around 14-15 points or so at the most and WW requires a minimum of 18....

Sorry ...forgot to list that I drink about 60 oz of water a day, and somewhere in there I also drink a diet V8 splash drink (so good!) And in the morning I have 1 cup of coffee- no sugar, 1 tsp creamer.

Well, first it looks like you are eating tops 1200 calories, if that. You definitely should be eating a 1600 calorie diet for all that exercise. Also, how intense is your cardio? Are you getting your heart rate up high enough? If not your cardio will not pay off. Also, your weight training, is it intense? Meaning you should be doing a weight level where your last rep is between 10 and 15 and it should be fairly difficult with good form.. If you are just throwing around 3 pound dumbells that will not be productive either. Also, for cardio, 5 days a week, 1 hr max is the most you should be doing. That is of intense cardio. If you are not losing weight on that something else needs to be tweaked in your plan. Also how is your pre and post workout meal. Are you refueling right after your workout? All of these things are critical. See if there is anything here that can be improved a bit.

Hi CapricornLove -

You really want to loose weight ??? Start keeping an accurate track of how many calories you are consuming a day... Keep a log.... if you are not loosing, reduce the caloric content and observe the effect.... unfortunatley there is no really quick weight loss. The really quick weight loss is usually just water loss.... Oh, and try to cut the foods you consume that are heavy in Sodium.... (makes your body hold the liquids you drink) :) :) :) Just dont toss more fuel into the furnace than it can burn naturally.
