Hello, I have been reading several threads here regarding tinnitus and not being able to sleep with it. Well, I have severe tinnitus and like the rest of you have trouble sleeping.
For what it is worth, I found the best thing for me was to purchase one of those sound pillows and connect it up to a white noise generator that plays rain falling, brook sounds, a seashore, water falls etc. I found this has really helped me so maybe this can help some of you too.
The best part is that this is with no drugs.
I ordered the sound pillow through the mail, and it is not a cheap foam pillow but rather a real plush one. I was impressed with it. As for the white noise generator, I bought it at my at a local retail store (Brookstone).
Believe me, I know what you are all going through, and from first hand experience! So, maybe this combination of the pillow and white noise may help you as it has helped me.
