I am using Enfamil Lipil w/ Iron. Which is best the powder or liquid? I was wonderig which last the longest? With my 1st 3 daughters I always used luquid, but I have been using powder so far with this baby (6 days old). To me it seems the powder is easiest but which will last the longest? None of it is cheap but we can get the huge cans of powder for $23 & it seems like it will probably last about 2 weeks. Any advice?

I used the powder. Guess I felt the liquid was too spendy, although I did use the liquid if we travelled for a few days, so I didn't have to bring the big giant can along. Also, I think I registered with the company and they'd send me vouchers every couple of months for $5 off the purchase of a can of formula.

I think a can lasted me about 10 days. I'd mix up about a quart of formula to keep in the fridge instead of mixing up individual bottles each time. Also, I think I went thru formula faster 'cuz our doctor told us to add more powder to the water (gave us a recipe) to sneak in more calories to help ds gain back some weight he lost because of illness.

For now I use both. I got about 5 cans of powder for free. I buy the liqued at BJ's which is the cheapest way to buy the liqued, at .17 cents a ounce. The reason I do not use powder is because we have very hard water, so I have to buy baby water to mix with the powder. I have noticed that if I use just powder mix my DS gets diahrea. So he gets more bottles with liqued then powder mix.
