View Full Version : Post-LASIK: Can't see anything in license test

Hi folks,

I had lasik in my left eye. After that I went to get my license renewed. When I closed my right eye to read the test chart (in the machine) with my left, I could not see anything at all. Nothing. It was a blank slate of white. No black smudges even. Is this normal? Is my cornea so thin now that it cannot see letters that close?

Thanks.

There may have been too much glare. Some lasik patients become senestive to glare and with alot of bright light, letters appear "washed out" Can you request the 20 feet snellen?
