I like to hear anyone who has RP on how to adjust their life and cope with the lost of vision. How this condition affect your daily life, your relationship with your family and friend?

Kato, I have the opposite problem--peripheral vision, but no central vision. There must be support groups for RP somewhere online. Check out this promising treatment:

Hi Kato, Well, I don't have RP, but do have retinopathy of prematurity, which has lead to 5 detached retinas and after all the surgeries have lost peripheral in my right eye.
Wish there was a easy answer as to how to cope, but I think we all find our own ways of coping with vision loss. I use brighter lights, don't let anyone move things around, but me, so I know where things are in the house.
Hope you find someone here who can help better. I actually did find one other person who shared my eye condition (but it's a rare condition in adults, so...) but they seemed to have disappeared. Hope you have better luck.
