After I wake Up From sleeping its like my eyes wont line up everything just seems so far apart.. When i cover my left eye i can see a object then cover my right eye and the object will be so far away from where my left eye sees it. then after like 2 mintues its back to normal my eyes see the object in the same place. I dunno what happens but its when i wake up and this jsut started. I dunno if it has anything to do wit pupil dialation or my eyes arent liningin up right when i wake up there still in the back of my head or what i cant explain it but it bothers me alot.. Sorry For not being able to explain it proper but if this happens to someone theyll know what im talkin about..
Thanks in Advance To Repliers

Hiya. Hope you don't have lyme. I'm not familiar with all the symptoms, so don't know if it affects eyesight.
Anyway, not sure I've got this right, but I'll post my little spiel and if it doesn't apply, you can disregard it. First off, there are at least a couple posters here who have vision problems upon awaking that go away shortly after. The posts might be hard to find unless the subject line mentions it. If I've read your post correctly, you might be having a bit of a convergence problem first thing in the day. An object seen by the left eye is not in the same place as the object viewed by the right eye. That's because our eyes are in different locations. So the objects, when you let your eyes go out of focus, appear side-by-side with a space between. It's up to our brains to put these objects together, or else we have double vision. Maybe your brain takes a few minutes to get in gear :)

The final object we see lines up with our dominant eye. To determine which eye is dominant, stretch your arm out and point at an object in the distance with both eyes open. That is, line up your pointer to the object as well as you can. Now, without moving your finger, close one eye, then close the other. The object will stay at the end of your pointer with the dominant eye; it will move off to the side with the non-dominant eye.

Don't know if any of this is pertinent.

Hi, I think I know what you're talking about. I've always had this problem, but mine is due to a "lazy" left eye. So, as Torre said, it may be a convergence problem. Do you know if you have any degree of amblyopia (sp?)?? For me, it seems worse while watching TV in bed, upon waking, or when I am really tired or have consumed some alcohol.
