Friends..
I got the dreaded Tinnitus beast and the stress has about done me in. I feel like I have a sick stomach and fullness most of the time. I feel like the stress has turned inward and effected my colon and stomach.
My depression from the Tinnitus has lifted somewhat but the GI stuff is bringing me back down. I don't feel like going places and my life has really became miserable.
I'll try anything like accupuncture, holistic, diet to feel normal again. I know the only treatment for ringing in the ears is learning to live with it, but there must be something for the GI problems.
Any help or suggestions would be a great joy..Thanks

I hear ya!! Ihave had stomach problems all my life. Not until the last few years, it has become much worse. I get anxiety from feeling sick which makes the sick feeling worse. To top it off, I have emetophobia (fear of being or getting sick).
I have a wellness Dr. that I go to and he has really helped me to get my stomach under control.
But, if I get anxious over something and I start feeling nauseaus, I take a Compazine. I get those from my regular MD. I HATE taking them as they are not natural. But, when my stomach starts doing horrible things to me, those pills are a lifesaver for me.
They use compazine for cancer patients to curb the nauseaus feeling.
I have also tried self hypnosis and that really helps. But I need tapes for that. I can't just sit and do it with nothing.
I even went to a GI Dr. and they found nothing. They did run bloodtests for certain conditions like celiac disease etc.
I still get bouts of nervous diarrhea along with feeling nauseaus if I have to go and do something that isn't part of my daily routine.
My Wellness Dr. gave me some homepathic drops to help calm me and they work somewhat.

I have been getting acupuncture and chinese herbal therapy for my stomach problems. I have had great success with an herbal formula called Six Gentlemen. I would highly recommend a consultation with a TCM herbalist.

Sunshine,
Thanks, I'm going for accupunture and consultation. My stomach feels nauseaus and I'm having some bloating and feelings like it may be colon contractions out of sync. Did you have these symptoms or something different? It's hard to tell if the stomach or colon.
Any ideas on what I should tell the TCM herbilist?

A TCM herbalist will ask you a series of questions regarding digestive habits and problems. I wouldn't worry too much with compiling a list of symptoms. Things that are symptoms will not necessarily even be things that are top-of-mind for you! My symptoms were a swing between diarhera and constipation, cramping, bloating and gas.

Sunshine,
I had my first accupunture treatment and it seemed to help but the guy didn't speak much English.
I talked with a Homeopathy Dr. and he recomended Probotics Pro with some other basic Disestive enymes. My symptoms are similar to yours except the diarhera. I have more of an incomplete movement first then another within the hour, very fustrating.
How much relief from the symptoms have you experienced? How many accupuncture treatments have you had? The treatments are expensive but I'll do anything to help my situation. Thanks much for the help..

I've had acupuncture about twice per month for the past year and 3 months. I'm lucky that I have a friend who is a practioner and gives me a discount. I would recommend that you seek out a TCM herbalist. I do not think acupuncture alone with do the trick.

I have 100% relief, but it was this one herbal formula, Six Gentlemen, that worked.

Hey Sunshine149,

I've been taking 3 Six Gentleman tablets twice a day. I'm going for another accupunture treatment and was curious if I'm getting the right points.

Did your friend explain what he treating from a accupunture point of view?

I know very little about accupunture but I'm trying to understand.

Let me know if you're still taking Six Gentleman and how you're doing..

Thanks
