A family member has been prescribed Vistaril for Borderline Personality Disorder. Has anyone had any experience with this personally or know of someone that has used it? What was the outcome?

GriffSS 09-14-2007, 04:30 AM Get a different doctor as soon as possible. Vistaril or Hydroxyzine Pamoate is a very mild sedative and anxyolitic (Anxiety med). Borderline Personality is a very serious Personality Disorder which needs much therapy. As far as the Vistaril, wrong drug entirely. Just trying to help.
