Hi....no, bleaching doesn't make the hair grow in darker or thicker. Bleaching affects the hair on the outside of the skin....colouring, cutting, shaving, perming...doesn't affect the thickness of the hair or the colour of it when it grows out (hair that hasn't been affected by the above mentioned processes).

After the hair is bleached, the new hair growth can look much darker...but it's the same hair colour that's been there all along.

It's an optical illusion rather than fact.

Thanks quincy
so, other than skin redness.. there's no disadvantages of bleaching at all?

The disadvantages of bleaching include skin irritation, temporary skin discoloration, pruritus (severe itching), and the prominence of bleached hair against tanned or naturally dark skin. Reports exist of generalized urticaria, asthma, syncope, and shock in reaction to the persulfate activator added to boost the effect of hydrogen peroxide bleach.
