Hey im new here and been recently diagnosed with CIN3...im about to go for the LEEP procedure on the 23rd of august...Theres one thing however that i cant seem to find any info on and thats the effects on the cervix(if any) if you are with an uncircumsixed man...Could this inadverently make the symptoms worse???sex.Just in general the "vaginal" health has declined....Is there any info anywhere about the relation to uncircumsion and cervical cancer???Thanx All :)

From what I have read circumsion (spelling?) has no effect on CIN or the degree of CIN you have. The only thing I have read in relationship to this is that some men may have other forms of HPV (i.e. strains 6 and 11) and not know it because they are not circumsized (6 and 11 are the ones that actaully produce warts and not CIN and cancer). My doctor says there is really no way for a guy (circumsized or not) to know whether they are carrying the high risk strains which can cause cancer because there is no visible sign of it. This is why HPV (high risk variants) are becoming so prevelant the carriers never know they have it.

Thank you for responding but my problem i think is one of hygiene...if the guy doesnt wash up down there after sex or only showers once or twice a week....can the bacteria from that aggravate symptoms....???But yes the info was very useful to me tho..cos i was also wondering that as well.See alot of times after sex i become extremly infammed inside..can hurt to pee as well..Sex gets painful as well..Latly tho the inflammation and pain come after our first session of intercourse...Been steadily gettin worse...And again...could his being uncircumsized and not cleaning down there properly or often enuff aggravate the CIN from all the bacteria...sorry i shouldve made myself more clearer in my first post :)
