I am hoping some one can give me a little help. When I go outside & it is very bright I have what I can only describe as multi-colored sparkles in my vision. Is any one familiar with what this might be. It is beginning to scare me a little bit. I am near sighted & currently don't wear any contacts or glasses (trying to find some that work well for me). I'm sure if this could make any kind of a difference. Thanks in advance for any advise.

Andrea, your problem is very, very common. And near-sightedness does seem to have something to do with it. We've had lots of posts about this problem, but you will have to go back through the subject headings to find them.

You might want to do a search for visual snow.
