I have had a lump in the middle of my forehead for some years now; it's about 2 cm in diameter, very visible and I think it is increasing in size, albeit very slowly. Doctors say that it is bone, it is harmless and could be removed by filing down the bone. However, that would mean cutting the skin on top of my head and folding it down to the eyebrows to get to the lump. Has anyone ever heard of or had such an operation?

hi, i too know what you are going throught. i was born with a lump of bone on the back of my skull. it started out very small then it grew over time. don't have surgery if its not painful! i have a bone tumor called a osteoma. it kind of trobbs with pain at night time. i think you should take a cat- scan to find out whats going on. i take one every 6 months. i hope that i helped u out a little. if u need anymore info i'll be sure to help.
