Does anyone know if pulmicort nebulizer treatments will relieve allergy symptoms? Daughters pediatrician is treating for asthma, but we think our daughter may have allergies too? Her ped doesnt think so, but we do.

But if she really has allergies, she needs to be on an antihistimine, nosespray, and possibly allergy shots. If your daughter is at the point where she needs a nebulizer, I think it is more than reasonable to ask for an allergist/immunologist consult. Avoidance of things you are allergic to is a big part of treating allergies and athsma - so you do need to know, in my opinion. Athsma and allergies often go hand in hand. Get her tested by an allergist who is well recommended. Mumbly |
