i have vertigo and lately it has been really bad. i was curious to see if anyone else has it and if it could be related in anyway to fibro. i have been taking dremamine and that helps a little, but i am getting tired of feeling like i am on a ride that just won't stop.
love,
robin
Hi girl75,
Do you also have Chronic Myofacsial Pain Syndrome. If you do, that cold be what's causing the dizziness. I read somewhere that if you have TrPs (trigger points) that are affetcted in the SCM (sternocleidomastiod- something to look up) that just moving your head can make you dizzy and cause ringing in the ears. Hope this helps.

I have had several attacks of vertigo, some really bad with the spinning. On mon. I had one but it was more dis-equilibruim where you feel like a drunk. I do have MPS, but sometimes think this is sinus also, who knows. but I sure hate the feeling.

Hi
My 29 year old daughter has vertigo for two years now. She lives in a city and walking out of her appartment and seeing the traffic passing sets her off and she gets dizzy and even passes out. She also has ringing in her ears and nausia when vertigo is bad. She has found that a low sugar and high salt diet and eating small amounts every two to three hours has been very helpful.
My daughter also has many of the signs of fibro but was never diagnosed. I have a feeling that she will have to acknowledge the possibility of fibro someday but does not want to even discuss it as a possibility.
Good luck

hi everyone,
i get the horrible ringing in the ears and have been told that i am walking like i am holding up a wall on my side. I bet that is another thing that leads one to being so tired.
Peace and love Janet

Concerning this I can be just standing and feel like I am going to fall backwards, this started about 7 years ago which I had no ideal what was going on with my body at that time.
