Hi, I've been trying to figure out what's causing my back and groin pain. My first concern was an aneurysm. I went to the doc and did an abdominal ultrasound and that was normal. But, I read about a pulse near the belly button which I notice too. But, the doc said I should because I'm slim or something. Basically, if I lay down I can watch my stomach sort of jump up with each heart beat. Could this possibly be normal?

Yes, it is normal to see your pulse in your stomach especially if you are slim because there is a large artery that carries blood to your lower body there. Nothing to worry about I dont think but if it keeps u worried just to feel better i would go to a doc

Thanks. Yeah I've been to like 3 docs in the past few weeks. I've had everything from blood work to a colonoscopy done. I'm basically just guessing trying to figure out what the crap is wrong here. Maybe I'll try to get a cat scan for a wide range assessment.
