If you want to lose weight I don't recommended it.

Ieat rice everyday with a variety of foods and chicken at least three times a week. I've kept my weight at 109 for many years. Rice won't make you gain weight but all the added sauces will.

I eat a lot of rice actually. It doesn't really have that many nutrients, but it is ok for your daily carb needs (unless you are low carbing)...eat some protein with it and some veggies though...because a small ammount can give you a lot of carbs quickly.

I agree with Shift...just make sure your portions are good and you'll find if you eat the protein and veggies first...you won't be as hungry for a lot of rice...and don't over do it. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
